Hi, I am Jess!

I am the passionate photographer behind JK Photography. I am originally from South Africa, and have been calling New Zealand home for the past 9 years. I live in the beautiful Tauranga, with my partner and my best furry friend, Nola. If I am not behind the camera, or behind the computer editing, you will find me out and about - swimming, camping, hiking or traveling. I am also a total foodie, and can never say no for a brunch with friends.

I am incredibly passionate about creating timeless and heartfelt photographs that celebrate the joy & uniqueness of your family. I love having fun, and making jokes, and guarantee at least one smile from your baby (or we are not leaving. lol!)

Photography has always been more than just a hobby for me; it is a way to freeze moments in time and preserve memories that will be cherished for generations to come. I feel incredibly fortunate to have found my niche in maternity, newborn and family photography, as it allows me to capture the raw emotions, anticipation, and the immense love shared by expectant parents and their tiny humans.
